Blockchain was invented long ago in 2008 as a public transaction ledger of the cryptocurrency Bitcoin and after 10 years’ time, Bitcoin is gradually being recognised as a peer-to-peer technology that can operate without a central authority or bank, collectively issuing and managing the Bitcoin transactions.

Blockchain has recently become a hot topic again however conversations are no longer limited to Bitcoin only. We notice that there is an increasing adoption of this technology throughout many industries and sectors, such as finance, supply chain, government, legal and many others and with a lot of use cases.

In this seminar, Blockchain technology will be introduced with selected use case sharing on how Blockchain solution can be applied into business. Viewpoints on the future of Blockchain and the way to get started will be discussed.
