In this webinar, Mr. Edward Au will provide an overview of the latest developments in the Hong Kong capital market and its regulatory landscape. This includes the performance of global and Hong Kong capital markets in the first half of the year and their outlook for the reminder of 2022. He will also discuss how the latest events in regulation, the macroeconomy, and geo-politics have shaped listing tends in Hong Kong's initial public offering (IPO) market. Edward's insights will help companies prioritize their medium- and long-term plans for business development in 2022 and beyond. In the second part, Ms. Melissa Fung will discuss about the rapid regulatory development on ESG, covering the latest consultations, guidelines and circulars issued by the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong, Securities and Futures Commission and Hong Kong Monetary Authority. She will also share about the development of green finance in capital market. This includes the introduction to green finance concepts as well as some common approaches, which could facilitate companies’ preparation for capturing green finance opportunities. |
