The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) has formed an exciting new chapter for cities involved, as well as businesses presented therein. On a macro level, it is a great driving force for economic development and innovation in China, and the GBA itself is already an economic powerhouse that could rival other leading bay areas in the world. On the micro level, local and international businesses are setting up presence in the region, with an aim of tapping into the tremendous opportunities arising from the orchestrated development.
Leveraging the strengths of each of the 9 cities and 2 Special Administrative Regions in the region, the GBA presents immense potential for businesses and people. With the dynamic innovation and technology ecosystem as well as a green-oriented financial system developed in the GBA, it serves as a forward-looking hub for businesses to capture new opportunities.
In this seminar, Dr Rocky Tung will discuss the latest development regarding the emerging trends in the GBA and shed light on the opportunities for business professionals, and the financial services sector on the whole, arising from the digital economy and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) and green finance-related trends.
