After the chairman of China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) devised the concept of “Valuation System with Chinese Characteristics” in November 2022, such concept has widely attracted investors’ attention as associated stocks with the concept have gained traction and achieved outstanding performance since 2023. There have been heated debates over whether such concept would just bring one-time boost in the capital market, or would stimulate a reshape of valuation system for state-owned firms and companies better aligned with national goals.

Ms. Stella Law and Mr. Ross Wang will share insight on the implications and outlooks of the concept “Valuation System with Chinese Characteristics”. The seminar will cover the below areas:

- Recap of background and current situation of associated stocks
- Brief introduction of key parameters in valuation
- The incorporation of “Chinese Characteristics” into valuation
- Outlook for future market development
